FaxMateŽ supports Local Number Portability for Australian local numbers.

This feature means you can port your existing fax numbers to the FaxMateŽ service - making switching to FaxMateŽ a more seamless and cost effective process.

There are a few considerations when porting a local number: 
1) You must have an active FaxMateŽ account - FaxMateŽ does not port numbers during the trial period.
2) Any number that you wish to port must be an active service with NO additional services attached.  Faxstream, ADSL, Eftpos, alarm systems, remote monitoring dialers and any other services attached to that line all need to be removed prior to submitting a porting request.

3) A completed Local Number Porting Authority Form is required. 4) An $85 porting request fee applies.
